Bio

Vetle Skåli (b. 2000) is a professional guitarist and composer from Tvedestrand, based in Oslo, Norway. Vetle is active in several projects and has toured and played on many of Norways most renowned jazz venues the last few years. Among these projects are his own bands Skaali Quintet and jazzfusion band METI. With Skaali Quintet, Vetle recently released “Impossible Creations”. METI will be releasing their debut album later in 2026.

Vetle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Performing Music from the University in Agder in 2023. and a master’s degree in Jazz and Improvised Music at The Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. He is currently completing his practical pedagogy studies at The Norwegian Academy of Music.
